Vision and Mission
The main vision and mission of the Mavelikara Block Panchayat in Alappuzha district are envisioned in alignment with the general goals and rural development policies of the Local Self Government Department (LSGD) of Kerala. It aims at the comprehensive progress of the Grama Panchayats under Mavelikara Block (Chennithala-Thripperumthura, Chettikulangara, Mannar, Mavelikara Thekkekara, and Thazhakara).

Health and Sanitation:
Build a healthy society that is waste-free and has access to clean water.

Enable inclusive development that ensures equal justice and progress for marginalized communities and women.
Transparent Governance:
Implement corruption-free and citizen-friendly local governance.
Mission
Infrastructure Development:
Improve rural roads, drinking water projects, and streetlights.
Poverty Alleviation:
Reduce poverty and create employment opportunities through schemes like the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).
Agricultural Progress:
Modernize agriculture and allied sectors while preserving the traditional heritage of the Onattukara agricultural region.
Digital Services:
Provide panchayat services quickly and transparently to the public through e-governance systems (such as K-SMART).
Welfare Schemes:
Ensure the accurate delivery of the PMAY housing scheme to eligible beneficiaries.
