Tubers and Coconut: The region nurtures a vast repository of diverse coconut varieties alongside tuber crops like tapioca (cassava), elephant foot yam, and taro.

The Achankovil River: This vital river and its numerous streams flow through the block, serving as a primary habitat for diverse freshwater fish and aquatic life.
